The Service is designed to allow users to sign in with their Google account and, where the user explicitly authorizes it, to access and import contacts from their Google account. This Privacy Policy describes exactly what information is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in using Google, the Service receives basic account information from Google as part of the authentication process. This may include:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your Google account identifier (a unique ID assigned by Google)
- Your Google profile photo URL
Google Contacts
The Service may access your Google Contacts only after you have explicitly granted the required permission through Google's official OAuth consent screen. If you do not grant this permission, the Service will not access your contacts.
When contact access is authorized, the following information may be retrieved for each contact in your Google account:
- Contact name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Profile photo URL (if available)
The Service does not access contacts stored locally on your device or phone. The Service does not access your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Calendar, or any other Google services beyond basic authentication and the contact-access permission you explicitly authorize.
3. How We Use Information
Information collected through the Service is used solely to provide the Service's intended functionality:
- To authenticate you using your Google account.
- To import and store your authorized Google Contacts as described in this Privacy Policy.
- To identify your account and associate imported contact data with it.
Information is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond the functionality described above.
4. Google API Services
This application uses Google's APIs, including Google Sign-In (Firebase Authentication) and the Google People API, to provide its functionality. Access to your Google account information and Google Contacts occurs only after you have explicitly authorized the requested permissions through Google's official OAuth consent flow.

This application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Storage of Information
Information collected through the Service — including your account information and imported contact data — is stored in the application's backend database (Google Cloud Firestore) for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Reasonable technical measures are in place to protect stored information. Access to stored data is restricted: your data is isolated from other users' data, and only the authorized application administrator can access records for operational purposes.
6. Data Sharing
This application does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your contact data to third parties.
The Service relies on the following third-party infrastructure to operate:
- Google Firebase — used for authentication and database storage. Your data is stored within Google's infrastructure under their terms and privacy policy.
- Google People API — used to retrieve your authorized Google Contacts.
Beyond these necessary service providers, your data is not shared with any other parties.
7. Data Retention
Information collected through the Service is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove it as described in Section 8.

Please include the Google email address associated with your account so we can locate and remove your data. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.
You may also revoke this application's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions. Revoking access does not automatically delete data already stored; please send a deletion request as described above if you also want stored data removed.
9. User Choices and Permissions
You are in control of the permissions you grant to this application. When you sign in with Google, you will be presented with Google's consent screen, which clearly describes the permissions being requested.
You may decline the contact-access permission. If you do not authorize contact access, the Service will not import or store your Google Contacts. Only the basic account information required for authentication will be used.
You can review and revoke this application's permissions at any time through your Google Account settings.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect the information handled by the Service. This includes authentication controls, access restrictions, and the security features provided by Google Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure.
No method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's Privacy
This Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the Service, please contact us using the details in Section 13 and we will take appropriate steps.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated Privacy Policy.
